Sport Nautique captain chairs

I’m interested in buying a mid-90’s Sport Nautique, and I really want the observer seat to be a captain’s chair, which most are not from what I’ve seen. Can anyone tell me what would be involved in converting from a rear facing seat to a captain’s chair? I’ve only seen this model in ads thus far.
