    Engine Knock?

    2006 PCM 330 had sat for a couple months with older gas. Started up and heard a knocking sound. Lasted a few seconds and went away. No "knock sensor" indicated. Wondering if maybe it was the port hatch rattling? Anyone else experience this? How worried should I be? Engine has 430 hours.

      Low oil or a short duration with low oil pressure? How is the oil level and age?

          Oil is good. I guess if it was an engine Knock the knock sensor would trigger? Thinking old gas caused some pre-ignition maybe?
