Hi Everyone -
I've finished the installation of the stern thruster on my Nautique 230. It works as advertised, and we see no changes to the wake. The installation took me about 10 hours, and I have an exceptionally well equipped shop. I ended up fabricating a few panels that didn't exist to mount a battery cut-out and the high current circuit breaker as well as running all of the battery cables up under the storage lockers. It came out looking completely factory, and I'm generally pleased. I also took the opportunity to mount a high-current plug in the same panel so I can quickly power a water pump and an inflator without connecting to the batteries.
