Motor Starts and Stops problem fixed

    My problem:

The motor would just stop after Idleing along. It would quit like the lanyard was disconected. The motor would fire and then die just a second later. It never left me stranded and a quick fix would be to just open the engine lid for just a few seconds and then the problem would go away. It might or might not do it again all day. I tryed a bunch of things including the relay's at the back of the motor and a complete check of alll the wire's. And because I could not make the problem happen I couldnt show my dealer so he could fix it. Some one here said to check the Idle circut screen on the throttle body. I took the screen out and cleaned it out and it fixed the problem. Thanks for your hel[p with this problem

Do you have a picture of this screen? or where exactly is it?
Maybe I should do mine before this happens to me since my boat is 12 years old now.
