2001 Pro Air

I just recently joined after purchasing a 2001 Pro Air from a friend. Boat as been kept in an enclosed storage facility and has not seen the light of day for the past 3 yrs. I've been fixing things as they come up, but since it is at the end of the season, I am making a laundry list of projects/fixes for the winter. One of the first ones is to deal with bilge pump(s). I have searched around but I cannot determine if there is only 1 or 2 pumps in this boat. Any help determining this would be greatly appreciated.

There should be one by the ski pylon, and another by the rudder.

First it tells you the number and locations of the pumps but more importantly it tells you about how they operate which is quite different than all my previous boats. I mention this as I was about to replace my pumps until I read the manual and discovered the auto sensing water feature. When I was testing mine they would come on then turn off. At first I thought they were both bad until I was able to understand their operation. You may be experiencing the same thing if you're replacing them for this reason.

Green and White. I've only had her out once this season, so probably not, but anything is possible. We dropped her in at Augie's on Eagle Mountain Lake

Excellent point. I did remove the drain plug from under the engine while trailering to flood the bilge to test this exact same theory. I may retry this just to make sure as I had "help" during this process

I was happy and content living in denial-land about there only being one so I wouldn't have to take out everything to get to the rear one... Only kidding!! I do appreciate the info though. Thanks again everyone!!

I had a black/white 2000 pro air I sold a few years ago that is still floating around the Area.
