    Chromax Adhesive

I’m getting my boat ready for it’s winter nap and noticed that one of my Chromax letters is coming loose. I am considering removing it and reinstalling with 3M adhesive tape used for automotive emblems but wanted to see if anyone has a suggestion or advise.

Should be fine. That stuff is incredibly durable. Make sure everything is perfectly clean before you set it in place.

This is key... I use rubbing alcohol to clean the surfaces prior to any adhesive application.

I did the job on Saturday. Cleaning to old adhesive off was the real job, then cleaned up the alcohol and attached with the tape. It looks good and time will tell.
