    no current ?

I am new to the group. Have a 98 SN with 600 hrs.
Bought used, runs great. Last weekend took the kids out, playing around and "softly" cut thru a large wake. Huge wall of water came over bow and into cockpit. Ran the bilge, pumped it all out, and continued to play for another hour. Put the boat up on the lift - next weekend hit the ignition circuit breaker and no current, no horn, no start ? Found the battery to be stone dead ? WHY ?

NO! when i put the boat away i push the ignition circuit breaker to turn off all the electrical current to the accessories. Clock, radio, engine, bilge, blower - all off!

Bad connection? Water was on the battery and corroded something? Start with the batt gnd and clean everything off at the gnd connection, at the batt... att the starter... ect.

WE found battery was completely drained of juice. AutoZone recharged it, says the battery is in good shape.
Test run tomorrow AM. Will let ya'll know. Thanks,

            RE: no current ?

Something is either drawing current from the battery when the boat is off or something was left on, unless the battery was pretty old to begin with. Hopefully all is well now.
