    Hole Shot

Anyone else notice the lack of hole shot in their 2006 196? OUr 2006 is a dog compared to our 2005.

    RE: Hole Shot

Is there a difference in props between the 2 years?

I'm not sure about the prop, will check it out. We are suspecting the throttle by wire. The 200+ men are really complaining. I even notice a difference at 150 lbs. It has a hole shot worse than our old Malibu.

We noticed the same thing with the Malibu Response LXi for 2006. Much softer than the 2003 RLXi we use. We also suspect the TBW set up.

Maybe it has something to do with the throttle by wire. I've noticed it has the same amount of power, just takes it a second to realize you ordered it.

We found out that it is the TBW. IT doesn't respond as quick as by cable. Are there any adjustments for this? Will they improve it for 2007? If not we might keep our 2005 instead of trading it for a 2007.
