I just completed replacing my oil pan (hole in pan next to plug), Cutlass bearing and other items but for the life of me, I can recall how to route the throttle cable. I know that it came up from the bilge on the right-side of the motor ran forward then around the throttle body, just over the injectors and then to the transmission. However if it comes up from the rear of the motor and forward then around the throttle body it is to short to reach the trans. If I have it come up by the fuel cell/filter than I have to much cable! I don't recall it coming over the exhaust manifolds, maybe between the block and the exhaust manifolds. Can anyone help or have a photo. I looked at a friends older 196 and it came up by the fuel cell, over waterpump and then back to trans, but still too much cable and I recall it coming from some where rearward.
