Rip on interior repair

Had a great camping trip, but when cleaning the boat, I noticed that my interior had a nice 3 inch gouge from a fin on the back locker. Great :twisted:
Wondering best way to stop it from expanding.

i bought a permatex kit from walmart and it works great..you can hardly notice it was onced ripped! cost-6-7 bucks

He did a few small tears in my previous boat. You could tell they were there but only if you looked really closely. It was only $100 or so.
