Water trickle in Blige from stern

Just bought a well maintained 2016 G21 and noticed a small trickle of water flowing from the back of the boat into the bilge when it’s in the water. Any experience with this happening to any of you?

I haven’t yet pulled off the side covers in the compartments to inspect the area around the shaft coupling. Hoping something just needs to be tightened versus a more laborious job. Any thought are appreciated!

Do you have underwater lights? Check to see if those are leaking. Could also be bolts on NSS.

Hard to say, could be anything from a loose drain plug to a leaking exhaust through hull fitting. Always look for the stupid stuff first. Being early in the season I would go over all the hose clamps and make sure all the hoses are installed correctly. Basically anything that may have been loosed or removed while winterizing. If the boat has a shower or heater the return lines are typically pulled in the winterazation process and easily forgotten about. Basically anywhere a hole was drilled is suspect but rudder boxes and the dripless shaft seal would be next on my list of suspects.

SO many things... Shaft coupling, Rudder port, loose hoses..... Just have to inspect to see.
