Cold days coming

Enjoyed and early spring in Michigan but some cold days are coming. Our launch is closed due to Covid-19, we aren’t even aloud to boat anymore(won’t be complying with that). So boat stays on the lift. I have a heater for the engine but my heater is a concern. Should I just blow the water out just in case? Going to be in the low 20’s over night. I usually drop the boat into the water and run the engine for awhile at night. I assume it’s not that hard to blow out after as an extra step. Is antifeeeze overkill? Just have 4 nights where it’ll dip below freezing. 2014 210. Thanks!

Looks like our early spring in Michigan is over. Partly because of the weather and partly because of the governor deciding that we can't use our boats until May 1st. I went out this morning drained all the water and blew out the heater. Made me really thankful for the blue hand screw out plugs in the H6. Whole job was done in 30 minutes. Now we just sit in the house and look at the lake we can't use for the next few weeks.

I live in Michigan also, we snuck out for a pontoon ride on Saturday with the same people I am in the house with., Not much risk of exposure. Hope the governor doesn't find out

I saw a story about your governor she thinks she is a dictator, Has she ever heard of the Constitution? I question if this is really a Pandemic of a test to see how many rights they can take away?

Fellow Michigander here, careful violating our lovely (sarcasm) governors order, I confirmed a few $1000 fines on my lake on Easter Sunday. I even spoke to a deputy sheriff, they are taking the order seriously. I'm thinking about taking the gas can off my old pontoon if it ever gets nice so I can paddle it out a hundred feet from our dock just to get a taste of being on the water (that's not motor-boating if the motor won't run, right?). My Nautique is stuck in storage at Silver Spray Sports, Hopefully my scheduled May13th pick-up date is still going to work out. Stay safe everyone!
