    Need Help GT-40 Hesitaiton

I thought I had it fixed but its back. It Hesitates once or twice a day while you drive it all day. It cuts out for half a second then goes again. Here is what I have done so far. I put a new fuel water seperator filter in. I cleaned the screen on the Low Pressure Pump also the screen in the gas tank. And I took the gas tank out and cleaned it out. There was a lot of debris on the screens. Fuel Pressure is good. Anyting else I can try? Than kYou

Clean the plugs, run some marvel mystery oil through it... might take the carb apart and clean it although that could get messy if you don't know what your doing. Or is it FI? Clean the points if it's not elect. ign. Clean the air filter.

      Same thing happend to me....

I have a 97 SN and the same hesitation happened with our boat this weekend, it would run fine for ages then just cut out for a second. I have already put in injector cleaner and some fuel cleaner as well. The plugs are new this season but I will check those as well. More suggestions would be great.

      Thank you

I'd say check/clean all the sensors including air flow.
        I don\'t care.

Have you checked the fuel pump relay? Pull it, and reassemble with dialectric grease. Or replace it. 12.00 at skidim.com. When the motor is running, wiggle all of your connections, see if a loose connection is doing it.

If it does it when hot, I would guess electrical in nature. Pull all of your connections and reassemble with dialectric grease. Some other dude had the same intermittent problem, and it was an in line fuse and corroded connection near his battery.
