Hello there, I have a 2009 216V and the ballasts are not filling. I replaced the impellers but I seem to be getting worse performance. Any suggestion? Could it be the seal of the impeller cover or something else?? Thanks in advance for the help. Markus

They make a full kit for the Jabsco Puppies that includes a shaft seal and new o-ring. If it is a seal issue that may take care of it. But if all of them are acting up, I’d take a look at the voltage and amps being drawn while the pumps are running and see what’s up there. Also, assuming they’re original the pumps may just be wearing out after 11 years but all of them at the same time is suspicious.

hal2814 - good recommendation - pumps seem to be good but a voltage test is the best approach and pretty simple to execute. I will look up the kit you referenced as well.

Have you ever had or heard of this issue?
I have a 2017 G25. The starboard ballast tank will not fill. If it shows 0%, immediately when I push the fill button, it shows 100% and the ballast pump turns off in three seconds. If I drain the bag until it reads zero, immediately when I push the fill button it reads 100% and the pump turns off in three seconds. The other two pumps work fine. When the other pumps are on, and I hit the fill button on the starboard side, water pumps in for three seconds and turns off. The bag fills eventually. When I drain the bag it drains completely. I just can’t keep the fill pump function on for more than three seconds.
