The factory paint on my Sport Nautique wake tower was flaking badly. After much research and consideration we pulled the tower and repaired it with white bedliner paint to match the textured finish from the factory. (Powder coating is not possible due to the plastic internal parts in the tower leg which will melt in the oven) As expected, the sanding and prep was the hardest part. I used the primer, bonding promoter and paint from Raptor (available in spray cans on Amazon) and the results were amazing. The project also forced use to remove all of the interior cushions and bolster pads which led to a deep cleaning... one word of caution... the Raptor paint says to keep the can at least 24" away from the surface and they mean it! Also, overspray is incredible so wear old clothes and stay away from anything that you do not want paint flecks on (I had to wet sand my son's Hummer after the project was finished
