Boat starts once a day with key only when it’s cold

I just replace the Starter solenoid Boat fired right up with the key on. Took it for a drive came back turn the boat off and now the boat will not start The boat will not start unless I bypass the starter solenoid.

It’s a 96 Sport nautique. With a GT40

Check these: neutral switch on the transmission and then emergency pull switch if I remember right both are in series and supply ground to the starter helper relay.
They ignition switch supply +12 in start podition.
