    Upgrade 2017 G23 Interior Lighting

We have a 2017 G23 with the white LEDs for the cupholders and interior lighting. Wanted to see if anyone has found a kit or a way to upgrade to the multicolor LED lights and if they could be controlled by the dash screen? Would also be interested in the same for the transom lights

I have the same boat with white led lights and transom lights. I looked into changing the cup holders lighting to a different color but once I checked with other folks they said the work was tedious and a pain. I know exactly what you are talking about because the white led cup holders are blinding. We never use ours for that reason alone. I should have never gotten them as an option in my boat; a huge waste of money. Sorry you struck a nerve on the topic and I had to vent.

Single color cupholder lights and such aren't too bad. You just get the the right connectors and can plug in. We added red cupholders to our boat that did not have the lighted cupholder option - the 2 conductor wiring is all there on some previous model years. https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...stall-2016-g23

For multicolor lights you need more than the two conductor wiring to be able to control the lighting. So if this is not already installed in the boat you would need to run it everywhere.

I recall that perhaps on the newer boats that this wiring may not be installed if the lighting option is not installed.
