3 in dash gauge hole in 96 Sport

    Hey guys,
Another question related to my 96 Sport restoration. I'm adding a Hawkeye 2" Depth and Water temp gauge. I'd really like to keep the clock, I know a lot of people chuck the clock when adding a depth finder. I am dropping in the new rebuilt engine tomorrow and my hour clock is bust, so now is the time to replace it too as the new engine goes in. NP has a combo Tach with digital hour meter that pretty closely matches the design of the other gauges which would allow me to use the old hour meter hole for the depth. https://www.nautiqueparts.com/produc...0-model-boats/

The combo gauge is a 3.5" gauge. I don't have the boat nearby right now, can anyone confirm if the original Tach is 3.5"? I know from Perfect Pass that the 2 large speedo gauges are 3.5" so I assume the tach is 3.5 as well, but in the picture I have of my dash, the Tach looks slightly smaller. Is that just an illusion?

Thanks...that's the gauge I want to use in mine! I need to know what the tach gauge size is the 93-97 Sports. The dash pod changed slightly in 98.
