Low oil pressure indicator on. Only showing 20 psi

Trying to determine e if I have an oil pressure issue or a malfunctioning sending unit.Low pressure red light light is on. Analog and digital pressure readings are showing 20 psi. The oil weight and level is correct. Think it’s a sending ore electrical issue...or could it be the oil pump?2007 motor only has 200 hrs

I would first check the resistance of the sending unit. Can you put a mechanical gauge directly on the engine? Also check for any loose wires on sending unit and at the gauge. I know there are some years that have power issues at the dash, not sure if you model year is one of them.

I would not run my engine except to check pressure for a few seconds.

Is this at idle? It isn't uncommon to see 20-30 at idle..If I remember right
