Advice please:
I just looked at an 07 SV211. It has a new Jasper 350 (new hoses / accessories) with 37 hours of fresh water time on it. The total time is 380. I am trying to get the records from the shop that put the motor in to understand the history. Based on what I saw on the skegs it looks to me like it’s been in salt water with a previous owner.
How much does salt history affect resale if the new engine/accessories are fresh water? Where else should I expect problems or should I take a closer look? Maybe ballast system?
