    2005 SV211 iginition switch

I brought my new to me nautique home today, pulled the key out of the ignition and the silver dash insert pulled off...No big deal, add some glue to the head of the bolt and let it set up...Well, one of the wires also pulled out while it was hanging there.

I pretty sure I see where it should go, but wanted to make sure. I found some wiring diagrams on the site, but none show any of them having 2 wires to one post on the ignition switch.

guessing here but maybe it’s not used and was under the tape (not sure why they would tape it to another wire like that)? Any chance you’ve tried cranking?

No, I didn't try cranking. I took a volt meter to the switch..

      Red without tape is battery
red with tape is connected to battery when key is set to accessory
The attached light purple is connected to battery when key is set to on

I believe the yellow/red is the solenoid when starting.

I'm pretty sure the light purple that came out is a "switched dash" power and connects to the other purple wire.
