I have a 2012 SANTE 230. Does anyone know if NSS can be added to this boat

Yes it can, does the boat have linc 2.0? It can be done with or without linc 2.0 but if boat has it, NSS will be integrated through the linc.
If it doesn’t you’ll have to run separate switches for the plates.

Yes it does. My nautique dealer said they could not retro fit. Said the rear of the boat was not reinforced to handle the load. Do you know where / who may sell the system or retrofit boats

2012 was the first year NSS was introduced, I’m surprised your dealer said that to you. The transom of your boat will handle the load. I had NSS installed on my 09 210 ran 4 years with absolutely no issues.

This 12 230 below has NSS, you will not have the plastic covers for the plates tho.

As scooter mentioned NSS can be retrofitted , even easier with the LINC 2.0 as it will be fully integrated. I don’t know your dealer is correct , I’ve never heard that argument at all. I installed it on my 2008 210 without one single issue. I will say the very tips of some of the screws did stick out ever so slightly on the interior side , but a simple dremel made that a non issue. It was particularly of concern to me as I removed my hard tanks and am running 1100 bags. If I were running the hard tanks it would’ve been a non issue.

We have a 2012 SANTE 230 with the retrofitted NSS integrated with LINC. Works great. Like others have said, you don't get the color-matched covers and the screw points poke through the inside of the transom. Yeah, the covers have a cleaner look, but the lack of them makes it easier to clean the weeds of when you land the boat...

I would question that dealer for making that statement. Are they an actual Nautique dealer?
