Teak deck repair tips

I have had to pull some and cut off the tips before. Only had to do that on one boat though.

I wouldn’t start applying teak oil until it’s all off.

I typically touch mine up throughout the season by applying a new coat of teak oil every couple weeks. Then I re-do the step at the end of each season. Never had problems applying a new coat of oil over the last coat.....

I always did the same. I was responding to the person removing the aqua deck. I’d make sure it’s completely stripped down before applying oil. But after, I’d definitely apply regularly.

Where might a good place be for a new platform when the time comes, and what’s the ballpark on them?

So...I'll just plug my WTB ad here and now - if anyone has a fiberglass step that fits a 206, hit me up. I can buy it outright or do trade with cash for my (very nice) teak step.
