2005 SN SE edition - Tach and speedometer not working

My 2005 SE 196 Speedometer and tach not working - other gauges working - hour meter works and PP works. Suggestions

If you have a gateway box... they are know for going bad. To see if you have a gateway box... look in the trunk behind the black plastic cover (in the center of the trunk against the back)
if the gateway box is bad, nautiqueparts.com has an expensive fix of replacing all the gauges and bypassing the gateway box.

Before that, I’m sure someone on this forum can help you check the speedo and tach at the dash for other possible issues.

oh, and PP is completely separate from all the other gauges.

Thanks, i will check this out. I do not think I have a gateway box, but will look. Good to know PP is separate. Must be a voltage issue of possibly both gauges just went bad.
