I see that many folks here have upgraded their older Flow-rite (wrong) ballast valves and control cable systems with the ASCO 8210G095. This is a 120VAC valve. I read that they open in 3-4 seconds using the 12 VDC source from the fill switch on the dash and there have been no issues with them. I called ASCO and talked to the tech. He said that I need the 8210G009 12DC and it will open instantly in milliseconds as opposed to 3-4.
I have not see mention of the ASCO 12V valves in any of the threads I have read through. Is there a reason why?
It just seems like he right fit. Has anyone used the 12VDC in their setups?
Thanks for the input,
Mike
