Windshield door hinges G23 2019

I opened abruptly the windshield door of my G23 today and the hinges broke apart. Has it ever happened to you? I sent a message the dealer and tried to find in Nautique Parts but couldn’t fine. Better to brake the hinges than the glass but seemed to be a little fragile - I opened abruptly with the shoulders hands busy my bad but would never expect it to broke. Best

Haven't seen that happen before. Should certainly be a warranty item, I'd think.

My 2019 G21 did the same thing in the first 30 minutes on the very first trip out. I was going out with dealer on first trip so they could show me how everything worked. Hinge was fine when we went out but half hour later I noticed that the window was sitting funny. Hinge broke a lot like yours on the top hinge. Bottom hinge was fine. It took about 3 weeks to get the new hinge. So I did not get to use the bow of boat much first month of ownership. New hinge in and everything is fine. Went all last summer on new hinge with no issues. We suspect maybe there was a metal spur or something in the hinge that caused it to fail.

Also, my boat was an early 2019 and the window bumper was mounted on the bottom of the main window. This caused the center window to torque at top hinge when open. When they put the new hinge on they moved the bumper to the hinged window in the middle of the window. So there was less torque on window when open.
