Bimini Top Mounting '96 Sport

Has anyone installated a bimini top on a '96 Sport and if so where did you place the mounting attachments? I purchased a Taylormade top from Overtons and am having trouble making the top look like it should.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hope this can help; mine is a 97 ski nautique; I have bought quick release attachments, they look better, easier to take off.

I mounted mine very similar to ced- the front of the feet are ~2" directly behind the windshield frame. I also recommend the quick release feet- its nice taking the bimini down quickly without any tools- and they look great.
