I ordered replacement gas shocks from white lake marine for my 2002 196 rear hatches. They told me which ones to order and unfortunately they are too long. The ones they sent are 15” and the existing are 10.5”. Has anyone tried to use these longer shocks and moved the attachment points? I would prefer not to screw more holes in the gel.
