Just got a 2013 Nautique G23 have a slew of questions any help would be appreciated!

Hello - I have been reading and have used these this forum for a while but this is my first post.

Just got a 2013 G23 the boat is awesome surfing is a blast and the wakeboarding wake is incredible. History on the boat it belonged to a pro in Alabama for 1.5 years then was sold to a family who never used it then they sold their lake house and it sat for almost 2 years before we bought it. The boat has 660 hours.

I have quite a few questions that I have ran into some other ones I have found complete answers to But I have searched for all of the answers.

Firstly - the boat is pitched to the starboard side whenever there is low ballast call it half tanks or less when ballasts are all the way full the boat is not tilted unless it is in surf mode in which case obviously its supposed to be. This leads to the main problem which I think may be the culprit of that problem whenever I turn the battery on and fire the boat up there seems to be random quantities assigned to each ballast tank. I know that there is an issue with the valve if you leave the boat in the water but every time I leave the boat I close the valves. For example I just stopped wakeboarding - emptied all of the ballasts then headed back to the dock - even after the ballasts said empty I clicked empty again and let them run until they auto shut off. Then once I parked the boat I turned the boat off turned the battery off then turned the boat back on then it said belly was all the way full with port and starboard empty - this manifests in many different ways like when I first went out I filled up port all the way for surfing (had starboard 1/4) then turned the boat off and it said starboard was 5/8 and port was 1/2 when I turned the boat back on. That is the first issue and aside from keeping a tally in my head of what I think the ballasts are at I can’t fathom how to remedy it.

Second - the stereo is very confusing to me. Sometimes when I turn the boat on it won’t boot up at all other times it boots up but is stuck on AM. The only way I have found to get it to work is to put a CD in to get it to turn on then take the cd out then it will let me select iPod. Very strange issue I know but not sure if anyone has experienced that or has been aware of it.

Third - the engine has a tendency to die or stall when going forward to reverse. Could easily be user error as I am coming from an SX210 where the reverse didn’t actually do anything to the engine it just dropped a guard over the jet. The boat had batteries replaced.

Lastly and least consequentially while not a selling point I think that the tower camera is a very cool feature and would like it to work the seller made it clear that he had never used it and had no clue if it worked. We have all of the equipment it seems but I have no clue what I am doing wrong all it shows is a blue screen when I press video. If anyone has any troubleshooting tips please let me know.

I really appreciate any help or tips you guys can offer.

You are bringing the boat to a stop, engine RPM's down to idle - before going into reverse correct?

I feel like I have been but maybe I’ve been a little to aggressive with it - thanks for the help
