Kind of at a loss here. Have a throttle gap all of sudden.
Forward, neutral , and reverse all engage properly and right away. Shifting is still smooth. Boat engages idle at proper position. But when you go to pull up a rider or goose the throttle. There is a gap of 1/4-1/3 of throttle movement , so my shifter travels forward a good amount before the boat throttles up. Any adjustment to this or is this the sign of new throttle cable needed? There’s no binding or anything. It’s smooth as silk. It just has a gap now after engaging where the throttle essentially moves but the boat first get going any faster
