2004 216 OEM Battery Size?

Does anyone know the group size for a 2004 216? The manual doesn't list it, my boat is not with me so I can't even measure the battery compartment. In my research I think Group 65 is correct but I know many people use the blue top Optima which is 34. I need to know what to buy by June 1 because I'll be going to Maine then and will have to quarantine for 14 days.

So looking for original size, largest that will fit or compartment dimensions including height.

I will check the battery in my 2006 216 in the am tomorrow and let you know. My battery compartment is in the floor immediately forward of the pylon. I am not 100% sure but I would bet your ‘04 is the same.

Since new I have been using Interstate Group 34. I have recently purchased a new Interstate from Costco, Group 34, 800 CCA, 1000 CA, 110 RC Item # 850241. It is equivalent to Interstate MTP-34 from the Interstate retail stores at a better price. My PCM manual recommends a minimum of 650 CCA for my Excalibur 330.
