2017 G23 costal edition, DTC 1318:Cylinder 8 misfire detected. Warning came up, I ignored it and immediatley returned to my boat lift. The boat does seem to be running fine. Any ideas what happened or why this happened? 60 hrs on the boat and it's been serviced properly. Please help! THANK YOU!!!!!

It very likely could be a bad coil. I had to replace one.
if you continue driving it’ll go into limp mode.
this is likely an easy fix. Do you have the diagram to see which cylinder is #8?
if it’s easy to get to... swap #8’s coil with another cylinder and see if the problem moves.
this is likely what PCM would prescribe after pulling the codes with the Diacom.
the exact same GM coils are at your local autozone for $30-$40. If you determine you just have a bad coil you can just take it down there and be done in 10mins. Exact same as the PCM ones.
