    Pulley Tensioner Bracket Breaks

I have a 2004 Nautique 226. The tensioner bracket failed last year, so I ordered a new one and replaced it along with the serpentine belt. Both parts were purchased from Nautiqueparts.com. They confirmed the part numbers to ensure they were correct before I installed them.

After running for less than 30 hours the part failed again in the exact same way. Picture shown below. By the way, I was 3 days into a 7 day trip at Lake Powell when my boat had to be towed in by a Malibu. Absolutely perfect!!

It appears to me that PCM has an issue that needs to be resolved.

To add to my misery, I went to order another part from Nautiqueparts.com and found that the price went from $15.56 (Aug 2019) to $76.08 (Today) which is a $60.52 increase.

    Anybody else running into this??

Just got an update from Nautiqueparts.com. They are warranting my part and sending a new part. Excellent customer service.

Nautique parts made right on several parts that I purchased several years which also failed on my 08 210. I have always made my Nautique parts purchases through them for this reason. However, my 210 just doesn’t have much go wrong with it.
