Well I thought it was time to change the impeller but after reading Jeff's 10+ hr ordeal I was not so keen to do it.
I cleared out the rear locker and removed the boards beside the engine and was pleasantly suprised to find the pump easy to get to. 6.0l PCM eng.
released the belt tension, then there are 3 10mm bolts holding the pump on to the pump body, these come out easy with a 1/4' dr ratchet and 3' extension 10mm socket, the pulley has holes for axcess
remove pulley front half of pump and impeller all in one bolts are held by o rings so they wont fall in bilge.
Pump is marked top for proper installation positioning.
I did not know what to lube new parts with so I used silicone spray and put it all together set the belt back on drive pulleys and done .
Start to finish 25 min.
