I have 2009 SAN 210 no LINC, with the Excalibur 343 in it. I am having an issue....boat runs fine, get up to 3000rmp and the check engine light comes on and is accompanied by continuous beeping. Boat continues to run fine. No power reduction. All the guages read good. All fluid levels are good. Any thoughts on what is causing the light to come on and the beeping?

I just fixed the knock sensor on my 2006. In my case it was simply a wire that had come loose. But I learned that there are two different alarms for this.
1. The knock sensor can’t be reached (my case). It happens the second you press start (before the engine even starts).
2. The sensor is hearing a knock. Seems to happen as you load up the engine (your case). I’ve read on here that it can be a dinged prop, a bad sensor, or actual engine knock.
If you don’t feel any vibration, it might not be the prop but double check.
Next, I’d add new fuel and add octane booster. Ask the gas station if anyone else reported engine issues.
If it’s a bad sensor, it’s not going to be fun. You’ll have to remove the intake manifold and the bolts are under a LOT of wiring and hoses. You also have to remove the file rails on each side - not hard to do, but hard to get to that point.

On mine, where the sensor could not be reached (heard), I had to reset the codes. I reattached the wire but that offered zero relief until I reset it. But remember, in my case, the sensor could not be read so I would get the alarm before starting the engine.
