Rear hatch pops open while trailering

I'm having this issue too (2017 GS 22). Ordering the softer shock and new grommet. will edit the post with results! I'm glad this thread was here.

I replaced my shocks Friday with the 25lb ones and this solved the problem. Took about 10minutes to swap them. You probably don’t need to order the new grommets even though I did this also.

you can close the hatch with 1 finger it’s so much better.
