I have a 2013 G23 and the rear tow point has a loose bolt in the center. I've pulled the insulation away from the rear ice chest and gotten a 3/4" wrench on the bolt and tightened it as much as I can but the bolt is still loose (I can wiggle it on the outside and inside of the boat). The dealership and I have determined it is a seized bolt and probably been that way since being manufactured. Dealer says we will need to cut a hole in the transom ice chest to access and replace the bolt and then repair the fiberglass ice chest. Anyone had this problem or a better suggestion on a repair? Would the other three bolts take and distribute the stress without causing cracks to the gelcoat?
