    Pylon "O" Ring????

Got out today for my first slalom in over a year after a somewhat nasty muscle pull the last time out. Got up on the first try which was a real bonus considering how apprehensive I was to go out again. Nice easy run today so everything is right with the world again.....

Anyway this was my first slalom behind the 2016 200 Sport Nautique. Very impressed considering we did a surf session immediately afterwards. This is a real crossover boat. One thing that did bother me was the slop in the pylon when I locked it in place. It seems to me I may be missing an O ring on the pylon. Can anyone tell me if there's supposed to be an O ring on the pylon above the locking grove in the picture below (circled in red). It really looks like it to me and would make a lot of sense as to why I'm getting so much movement.

Mine looks the same as yours. No o-ring. Maybe the bracket is loose.

      Thank you for the reply.

I'll look again but it's at the top that the pylon moves around, it's tight and locked in at the bottom. If you get a chance please take a picture of your mounting are where the pylon slides in and one of your pylon inserted. I'd really like to get this fitting better as I plan to ski this boat quite a bit. Mine has a 1/4 around it. It's definitely is not a snug fit. I'm going to take some calipers out there today and measure the ID on the pylon and the OD of the mounting hole and see about finding an o ring to at least snug this up.

Here are some pictures. Mine’s always had a little movement. Maybe 1/8” side to side and front to back measure at the top.

Thank you for the pictures. Mine looks like that as well and mine too has about the same play in it. I think I'm going to see if I can find an O ring to tighten it up a bit.....
