Ballast tank not filling on GS22

My port side ballast tank has all of a sudden decided not to fill. It runs for maybe 10 seconds, jumps to 100% full on the Linc system and then shuts down. It runs in sync with the starboard one when draining, it’s only filling. The impeller is fine, it seems to be something with the timers. Any ideas as to how to get it to run?

Probably the pressure switch. I had this happen on my GS22 '18. With the bags empty, you can go to the Power Diagnostic page. On the bottom right of the display, you will see the pressure recorded by the switches at each of the three ballast stations. I believe the reading settles around 0.7V. Mine was reading - 4.9 V (and 100% full). If I left the boat's power on for a while the sensor would settle to the correct voltage and I could fill the bag. Faulty sensor. I replaced the sensor and it works fine. Sensor costs about $100 bucks, but the boat should be under warranty.

if it is a failed sensor, you can disconnect it and run the pump however you would like.
there are new redesigned sensors available and should be replaced under warranty

I disconnected the sensor and it is working which should allow me to surf until the dealer can come fix it. Thanks for the reply’s.

I see a lot of posts on the location for the sensors on the G. Where are they on the GS? Way back behind the engine?

The rear of the bags sub floor. I think you access them from transom area behind engine. I have pictures somewhere. They are a real PITA to reach
