2007 zR6 Half power

On the lake today and around noon the boat would only give me about half the power. Engine temp and oil pressure were fine. We could get about to 20 mph after a bit. Exhaust smells a little more like gas than normal.

Wondering if it could be fuel filter, spark plugs or spark plug wires or if it sounds more serious and should have the dealer look at. About 575 hours on the engine.

No alerts in the bottom screens on the gauges? Sounds like a possible throttle position sensor issue to me.

Correct. No alerts on the gauges. I’ll look into the throttle position sensor. Thanks for the advice.

Does the 2007 ZR6 have a primary fuel filter. I trace the fuel lines from the gas tank to the FCC and fuel pump and no filter.

Do you have zero off GPS? I ran into a dead zone over the weekend and we suspect an area of our lake is not getting GPS signal or its blocked or interference, my boat, a fiends G and a Mastercraft XT23 all had the same problem in the exact same spot in the lake. Boat would only go about 50% power, could not get above about 13-14 MPH....anyone every heard of this? No other issues with this anywhere else on the lake.

I have Perfect Pass so I don't think I'm affected by the GPS signal.

What I did do is replaced the FCC fuel filter, the fuel pre-filter (the early 2007's had this pre-filter instead of the inline filter) and changed the spark plugs and that has fixed my problem. I'm going to change the fuel filters annually now.
