Handling of a GS24

So I have a 2019 GS24, and it is my first V-drive boat, so it has been exciting for me as I learn to maneuver it while surfing, skiing and wake boarding. But my question is more when I am just cruising (20 mph and up) in "Back to Dock" mode. If I get into some rollers or just make a couple sharp turns, the boat lists to the port side so bad that I have to come to a stop and restart. Is this normal, is there a setting that I should change. There are typically just three of us in the boat and we are spread out as evenly as possible.

GS22 here. Nearly 70 hours and have never experience anything close to what you describe. Something sounds seriously off.

Sounds to me like you have a ballast tank that is still full.

We have had issues with ballast tanks not emptying all the way, however, I thought we had that fixed. I have contacted the marina, and will have them take it out. If I can I will get a video. I was hoping it wasn't something I had to just get used to...

I have a 22 and has never done this, although my boat does list to the port side sitting at the dock

I have a 2019 GS24 and was experiencing the same thing. I discovered that the port side ballast had about 600lbs in it. Once I emptied it out the problem went away. I've only had the boat for two weeks, so I'm looking to see if it it happens again.

Did your screen indicate that there was ballast in your boat, or once you turned the boat off and on again did it start to empty? My boat started claiming it was empty, and then it would handle a little off, once I turned off the boat and turned it back on again, it would start to empty (it was in Back to Dock mode). I thought they had that figured out... I haven't noticed the boat with ballast remaining, but I wonder if the computer is off now.....

Yep, I think you have a tank that isn't emptying.

When I started searching the screen it showed that their was 600lbs of ballast on the port side. Prior to that I had started and stopped the engine a few times, so that didn't cause the system to empty the ballast. I selected "Back To Dock" to empty the ballast. I'm taking the boat out tomorrow and will see if it adds ballast on its own. I'll report back.

When I was out yesterday my GS24 did not take on any ballast without me directing it to do so. I'll keep an eye on this and will report back if I have an issue. I am very pleased with the handling of the boat when cruising around.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I believe the boat was holding water in the ballast tank. We've replaced the check valves and most of the inner workings on the ballast system, and it appears to be working properly (knock on wood) since the boat has been properly emptying itself, I haven't had any issues with the boat listing as much. my GS port side seems to be holding water (I think). the sensor says 0%, but the boat will list to the left. I run the pump again and it seems to pump more water out somewhat correcting the list.
Although, I figure the port side is heavier due to all the equipment that is on that side. Batteries, stuff under the passenger seat, etc...
But I have countered that with ballast shot bags....
I think my sensors are bad as well, because occasionally they will read 50%, then 1 second later, they will read 100%

My boat was definitely holding water, and the computer would say it was empty. Replacing the check valves appeared to be Nautique's final idea to get it to work. I think the check valve ensures that the water is only flowing when there is proper pressure applied to it (by the pump). I did find this diagram (obviously not Nautique, but it shows the parts):
