    2002 SANTE PYTHON | won't go over 13mph

    Hello to All!

I have a 2002 SANTE with the Python engine. The boat was stored indoors at the marina over the winter. Stabil was used. The boat starts and idles on point. The issue is that it will only go up to 13mph. It does not bog, or hesitate. Full throttle still 13mph. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My gut tells me you are having a issue with your Perfect Pass. Assuming your Perfect Pass is off, your “check engine” light is not ON and you are not actually in “Limp Mode” I would start by checking the servo motor/linkage etc. If you click on the Manuals/Brochures section on this site and scroll down to the bottom you will find the user/installation manuals for your era Perfect Pass. I am sure others on this site will have more experience and knowledge of these older systems and should be able to help you out if you can’t sort it out looking at the manuals. If you are in limp mode that is a whole different animal but can be diagnosed.
