Of course, just pulled the boat to a different lake for a week if of skiing and I'm getting the red dash light on.
I dropped it in, ran it about a mile at 22mph, no issue. Pulled some little kids skiing, eventually light came on, never running more than 1600 rpm. 11mph.
turning it off and then turning it on again resets the light. There's no problems with the gauges, I'm running just under 160 for a temp and just over 40 PSI at idle and maybe a bit over 60 I believe at throttle.
we took the boat out without the light on and brought it up to speed multiple times at 36 38 40 miles an hour, and the light never came on and the temps never changed. Then if you set it back down and idle it for a while the light will come on.
The impeller is new about 25 hours ago at the beginning of the season. I've got the old one in the boat as a spare and I'm thinking about tearing it apart and changing it.
anything else I should look for first, because without the gauges moving at all it doesn't really seem like it's an overheating issue or an oil pressure issue.
Thanks!!!
no service here where I'm camping so it might be a bit before I get back in touch. Feel free to throw some ideas my way to test. I have any tool I need necessary to change out water pumps, check any electronics with multimeters etc.
