87 2001 steering cable

hi guys new here . Been a member of the other site but seems to be down now . So anyways need a new steering cable for my 87 2001,.called my nearest dealer in N.H and he says they are back ordered and he got two boats in there that have been sitting for a month waiting. So was hoping someone on here might have one or know where I can get one . Guy in N H said just deal with the hard steering. He wouldn’t even order me one . Thanks for any help in advance

Checked there first .It says on there web site that 82- 92 cable is only available from a cc dealer
