Hello,
I have a 2004 ski nautique 196 330 Excalibur. I have had it since Feb and it has always ran like a top. Yesterday, it started randomly shutting off while going through the course and randomly not starting, then it would fire up like nothing was wrong and run fine. It kept doing this until it seemed to get worse and we couldn’t get it to start back up. We started paddling back to the ramp while trying to to start it with no luck. Finally, after making it have way to the ramp and trying to start it multiple times, it fired up and ran fine to the ramp and idled perfect while getting the trailer.
I checked the kill switch during this whole ordeal yesterday, to make sure I didn’t accidentally pull the little stopper out and activate it. But that was the only thing I checked. Has anyone had the same issue and figured out what it was? Or does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking the fuel pump or fuel relay but not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
