    Nautique Action Cam Conversion G23

Hello, new to the group, awesome site!

I've got a 2014 G23, and I optioned the Nautique Action Cam on the boat. It's useless. The image looks as if you were looking through fog (lens quality I'm sure), and beyond that, since it doesn't tilt, surf videos are out of the question. So, I'd love to swap this camera for a GoPro, keeping the dash display functional. Has anyone done this? Is there a wiring diagram for this where I may be able to figure it out? I fly a lot of RC, and have used GoPros for my FPV flying for years. Setting them up to a video downlink is super simple, so I figured there's got a be a way to use the existing wiring to display the GoPro's image on the display.

Thanks so much for any and all help!

This is honestly a guess on your boat since mine is not a G23, but there should be an RCA video plug behind the screen. My screen has 2 video plugs hanging down behind it and 2 separate video inputs that I can switch between. Hooking up a camera is as simple as plugging in the RCA video line and providing power to the camera.

Thanks for the reply! My boat has composite (rca) connections available in the dash glove box, so I could definitely hook up a camera through that connection and have it display, however I'd like to use the factory wiring for the factory camera, which already exists in the tower at the spool/pylon. This way, I can have a very clean install, no visible wires or connections and be able to use it like the factory camera (I'll mount the GoPro on the top of the spool). It'd be no problem figuring which wires are power and ground here, I was just hoping to either find the wiring diagram for this option/boat, or someone who may have adapted one themselves since the factory camera is completely useless. Here's a pic of the wires that are routed to the camera - which was mounted in the rotating spool.
