G23 power question

Was wondering if anyone can help to let me know if this is normal. Our 2019 G23 (with H6) won't get on plane (only gets to 15 mph) with full factory ballast, two adults, one child and 250lbs of lead to counter prop rotation. We're just at just under 3,000' elevation. I normally ride only half ballast so never really thought much about it but I think it's always been that way - we had a full crew last year and couldn't put any weight in the boat. I checked the tabs and plane assist seems to be working.

Our 2015 with the ZR450 was fine but not sure if the new hull makes a difference.

We have it scheduled to go in for service but would rather not lose time on the water if it's normal.

I agree. My 2020 ZZ6 G23 gets on plane faster than our previous G with the 6.0l 450. Full ballast and 1000 lbs of lead and people and it hits 22 mph in about 10 secs. Although this is near sea level.

I’m same as above. Can be fully loaded down and no issues getting onto plane. Something doesn’t sound right for sure

Agreed with above something is not right. Likely plane assist related.

Thanks all. Sounds like a visit to the dealer is needed. Hopefully will be an easy fix.

Able to find anything out? My 2016 G23 did the same today. Filled ballast and went to wakeboard and the boat would stop at about 14mph. No faults at all. Shut it off, restarted, did the same thing. Emptied the ballast and it would then go 38mph like it was running fine.

It goes in on Wednesday so will find out then. Ours is the same as yours - no codes and gets to 38mph. Is this a new issue for you?

Yes it is a new issue. Worked just fine Friday. Took it out Sunday and it just started this.

The ram on the ncrs wasn’t working. They swapped it out and feels like a different boat now.
