I shattered the starboard windshield yesterday on my 2003 Ski 206. I am having trouble finding a replacement and getting a bit desperate. Does anyone have a suggestion? I cant find it on nautiqueparts website and they are not taking calls.

I have some experience in finding windshields that work for boats where they say they won't fit. I would GUESS that possibly the windshield wings for a 196 might fit a 206. The center door would be different due to the placement farther back on the deck. I would suggest getting in touch with NP and seeing if they have time to measure a 206 on the lot or compare one of their 196 wings to the one on the 206. My hunch is that it might fit.
They are closed for calls on Saturday and Sunday, but try calling them on Monday.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.

So far, I am striking out. My brother has the same vintage nautique in a 196 and we compared windshields. While the beam is the same, the windshields are quite different. Ignoring the obvious difference of the lack of the center step-through, the 196 windshield does not come back nearly as far as the 206. The 196 ends about even with the throttle whereas the 206 ends about 10" past the throttle. So I guess if I was willing to give up the step-through and could fill in a hole or two, the 196 window would work if I bought the whole window. But man, I would rather not. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I contacted Taylor Made and they could not help.

Taylor was my first email after I discovered that Correct Craft was not going to be helpful. Taylor's website says, and I quote: "if you’re in search of a replacement windshield that fits the exact make and model of your towboat — there’s no doubt Taylor Made has the windshield solution you need to get your boat out of the shop and in the water." Unfortunately, when I emailed them they replied that they "do not have a replacement available." They did provide a name of a custom fabricator who wants $1300 for a plastic replacement and $5500 for glass. And would take 2 -3 weeks. I am having trouble accepting that my boat is so old that neither correct craft nor taylor made will support it.

Well that is one of the steps (Anger, Denial, Depression and Acceptance). Truth be told your boat is 13 years old. Finding parts for any low production product that old can be challenging and with windshields on boats near impossible. If this happened on the road or as the result of some sort of an accident it may be time to consider an insurance claim.
Unfortunately this is not the first post like yours I've seen on one of these sites. I've also seen good older boats going for near half their value because they needed wind shields or glass for this same reason.
Truth be told I've found it much easier to get parts like gauges, interior panels and such for Nautiques than other boats. I was stunned that they could build me a jump seat and other interior parts for my 2016 using the original vinyl. Other manufactures will take their old stock and sell it to companies like Great Lakes Skipper after just a couple years of a boat or component going out of production. Which BTW would be my last chance, log shot suggestion for a source. GLS stocks a ton of overrun boat manufacture components. I haven't seen much for Nautiques there but you never know if another manufacture was using the same part for their boats.
