2 Pitot on stern, 1 Airguide Speedometer 1 Perfect Pass

New to me 1999 Ski Nautique, 2 pitots on stern, neither connected to tubing as the pitots are both broken. In dash is 1 Airguide speedometer and to the left of that is a Perfect Pass. Why does it have 2 Pitots, Speedometer does not work and Perfect Pass does? Do I need to buy 2 replacement Pitots and what size pvc tubing/couplers in case existing line is too short. I found the Pitots on Skidim, thanks to this site!

Pitots were for the air guide. The reason for two, was so that in tournament skiing, if one got clogged, you still had another - and to help with accuracy. Your perfect pass should have a paddle wheel under the boat unless it has been upgraded to the GPS version which you would see a puck on the deck somewhere.

Your boat originally had two speedometers. PP was added later. One pitot should be capped off somewhere. The other should run to your speedometer.

If you want to get fancy, you can eliminate the pitots and do an AirGlide conversion to your stock speedometer. That'll allow the stock Airguide to use GPS for its reading. I did this on one of my boats and it was great.
