On my 2006 SAN 220 with the Excalibur 330 I have been getting faulty oil pressure readings. I am 99% sure its due to the gateway as I have already changed the sender. I think I am going to try just replacing the oil pressure gauge with one that does not go through the gateway box. Just by pass it completely for the time being (just oil psi gauge) till this winter when I upgrade all the gauges. Is there any reason this won't work? I know I will lose my oil psi reading on the digital rpm read out also. Can I just disconnect wire from gateway or do I need to ground it out so alarm isn't going crazy? Or is this not possible at all? I already bought the oil pressure gauge from Nautique Parts and don't see why this won't work.

I'd try just swapping the gauge out first with the current wiring.
